outstanding show mare. Tatters has earned her young rider multiple weekend
high points and year end awards. She will show and win all day from the first
to last class. Just in 2011 at CMHA in the very competitive 14-18 division,
Tatters finished the year 1st in Mares Halter, 1st in Trail, 3rd in showmanship,
3rd in Bareback, 5th in Western Horsemanship & Pleasure and 7th in English
Equation/Pleasure. In addition to all the regular classes Tatters has been lightly
shown over fences and Western Riding Class. With her love of patterns,
maneuverability, athleticism and easy flying lead change she could easily move
to the reining pen and be a strong contender.
After a long weekend of showing Tatters enjoys to hit the trails. Going
out alone or with a large group, Tatters is always steady and ready to lead the
“sissies” into the water or past the “horse eating” object.
Tatters is one of the easiest horses to have around the barn. She is
always first at the gate, clean in her stall, easy keeper, will stand all day in the
isle way for grooming, saddling, clipping and banding. I have never met a horse
that enjoys being body clipped…this one does.
She is up to date on everything including dental work, ready for her new
home. We are only selling as the owner is ready to move on to a young
prospect which we are willing to take a partial trade for. Looking for a reg.
AQHA or APHA, preferably mare, 2yo+, all-around prospect.
