Favorite Docs Annie 1987-2007
In all my dreams of galloping across a open
field arms spread wide...there she'll be.

A tribute to my best friend. The greatest
horse to have ever have graced my life.

Annie started Empty Pockets Farm and will
be here forever.

Heaven will be happy to have their best angel back. We are going to
miss him down here.

Cezar, the gentle giant was loved by all. He taught men and
babied the kids, he trucked down the trails with the upmost grace.
Everything about him was large, especially his heart, even though
he is gone we will never be far apart. He lived a full life, and was
understanding until then end. We will love you forever my giant,
gentle friend.
-John Wilson

Cezar was one in a million.   Everyone loved him, and, with good
reason.  His wonderful demeanor, his patience with children, (and
adults) teaching them the ropes, and most of all, being
predictable.  Cezar was his warm, loving, consistent self with
every rider .. new and old.... everytime.   He was bigger than life,
and though the barn will seem empty without him, all of our
memories of him will live on at Empty Pockets Farm.  So long, Big
Guy!!!!  We'll miss you always, and joke about "The Gas Master"
for a long time to come.

About are farm and what we do:
We are a small private farm located in Casco, Michigan just
minutes from I-94. We love all animals and have a lot of them
but we are especially devoted to horses. So we have built
our farm around their care and needs. Construction started
2006, we have been building on and "improving" ever since.

We here at Empty Pockets Farm pride ourselves on having a
"Home Like" atmosphere to our small facility with all the
convenience of lager farms.

Here at Empty Pockets Farm each horse is cared for
individually with a feeding, bedding and turn out program
tailored to each horses specific needs. Extras such as
removing blanketing, putting on bell boots, fly masks for turn
out and feeding your supplements are all done at no extra
cost.
Your horse will go out daily in a large pasture filled with
grass (in the summer) with no more then two other horses.
Individual turn out is also available. Pastures are seeded
every year. We have the safest fencing possible designed
for horses called Flex Fence.

Our large and airy 20 foot isle way is done in non-slip brick pavers for the safety of our horses.
We have an indoor arena, very large outdoor arena, outdoor round pen all with safe footing. We have a full set of jumps for use in the
outdoor arena, which you may move around and adjust to your needs.
Our stall area, tack room and arena are all heated to 55degrees in the winter. No more freezing toes!
We feed top quality nutritional grains. No Sweet Feed for sugar charged horses.
The owner is on site so your horse will never be left alone.
We offer a multi-discipline lesson program for riders just starting out to advanced students looking to improve. Check out more information
